About 100 Hour Continued Education Plus Asana Classes

The Craft Of Teaching Modern Yoga

The Craft of Teaching Modern Yoga is a Yoga Alliance-certified 100 hour continued education course led by Kayla Nielsen. The purpose of this program is to empower yoga teachers of any style to discover a new depth of their personal practice and their offerings.

With 10 years of teaching experience and over 1000 hours of training, Kayla has created a specific blend of methods and strategies. Combined with the timeless nature of yoga philosophy, this provides a holistic approach to the art of teaching.

Our course serves as a bridge, connecting the ancient roots of yoga with modern-day culture. You’ll walk away from this experience with a grounded understanding of who you are as a teacher, and how to share authentically from that place moving forward.

This program is self-paced, and there is no time limit in place in order for completion. It is required to hold a 200 hour certification prior to taking this course. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a 100 hour continued education certificate from the Yoga Alliance-registered school GLOW Yoga Retreats.

One of the best things about joining Continued Education courses is that you’re not only learning from the person leading the experience, but from all of the teachers who are your fellow students, as well. Just because this is a self-paced, pre-recorded Continued Education course, doesn’t mean you’ll have to miss out on the community aspect of it!

We’ve created a private Facebook Group for all members of this course to join. This is a space for teachers from all walks of life to connect and share their experience of teaching. It’s here that you can discuss specific concepts, methods, and strategies you learned in this course. And also a place to keep each other accountable, to cheer one another on, and to add your own words of wisdom on all topics related to teaching modern yoga.

Remember, we’re ALL teachers here. And we all have something of value to offer. Stay open, be kind, and enjoy connecting with new friends from all over the world.
